Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! If you stopped by my blog earlier and thought you saw a different project, you’re not cracking up! lol I prepared next week’s project by mistake. Good news? I’m all ready for next week!! lol So have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet today to see what we’re casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

I love having sketches to help create; especially when you’re in a hurry like I was this morning!  😉 I followed the sketch with the exception of my large piece of DSP, that measures 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ so that the card base can be seen.

I was able to use all scraps and leftovers for my card too, which is always a plus! Helps clean up that stash, right? Well, one can hope any way! I started with my Thick Whisper White card base and added my piece of DSP from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP pack. Then I found a scrap of Pretty Peacock cardstock and trimmed it to the 2″ x 5″ to follow the sketch. Next I die cut another piece of Thick Very Vanilla from my scrap bin and I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink. I added it to the card front with dimensionals. I punched a scrap of the DSP with one of the coordinating Ornament Punches. For the top of the ornament, I found a scrap of Copper Foil and punched just the end to give it a more finished look, and then glued it down with a drop of the Liquid Glue. Once it was dry, I added to the card with more dimensionals. I had a little piece of the Forevery Greenery Trim sitting on my desk so I tied it in a knot and added it to the ornament with a Mini Glue Dot. For my bling, I took a brown Sharpie and colored them so that they look more like copper rhinestones. Our brown Blends Markers just aren’t the right shade for copper, so the Sharpie works well.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment and the holly image in Pretty Peacock ink, stamping off for the holly.

And I stamped the holly on the envelope as well…we don’t want to send naked envelopes!! 🙂

Now it’s your turn. Create your tak on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday FB Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot. That’s the fun part of casing, it’s all up to you! If you’re not a member of the group yet, no worries, just requesto to join. We would love to have you come and play along with us!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
