Hey everyone! Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. Can you believe we’re only 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving??? Yikes! So have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Cute card, but for some reason I really struggled with this sketch. So…..I changed it up!

I don’t have the Have a Hoot Bundle and when I tried to create something with the measurements in the sketch, I just didn’t like my results. I do however really like the end result of my changes! I started with a Thick Whisper White card base cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and added a piece of the ‘Tis the Season DSP that I trimmed to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. I trimmed my scrap of Whisper White cardstock to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and die cut the center with one of the Stitched Rectangles. Next, I trimmed another piece of the DSP from the same pack to about 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ and glued it down to the card base. I then added my Whisper White frame over the top with dimensionals. I found a scrap of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and trimmed it to 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ and stamped the sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set in the Whisper White Craft ink and then sprinkled on some White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I punched the end with the coordinating banner punch and added it to my card front with a dimesnional on the left side a bit of Stampin’ Seal on the right. That way it kept the banner from saggin on one side. Then I added some, okay, a lot, of rhinestones to give it some bling. What do you think?

It looks so shiny in person!! You know me and bling! lol For the inside, I trimmed a scrap of Whisper White cardstock to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and added a 1″ x 3 3/4″ piece of the DSP to the top and stamped the sentiment from the October Paper Pumpkin kit in Cherry Cobbler. I just love this sentiment! Oh, and by the way, today is the last day to subscribe to get the November kit which is all about gingerbread and gift card holders!!

And don’t forget your envelope! This one had some ink on the front, so what better way to cover it up then with DSP!!! lol And it coordinates with your card! Win-win!!

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. You can create the card just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot…it’s all up to you! And if you’re not a member of our group yet, just request to join. We would love to have you play along with us.

Thank you so much for stopping by and remember, today is the last day to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin to get those adorable gingerbread men! Just head over here to subscribe. Have a great Tuesday!!
