Hey everyone! Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Can you believe it’s November?!? Wow! So, if this is your first time here in my neck of the woods, welcome! Please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

.I was glad to see this week’s case was a fall card. Fall is my very favorite time of year and sometimes just doesn’t seem long enough! I followed the sketch for everything except for the three panels. My three panels actually measure 1 3/8″ x 3 1/2″ inches. When I cut the layers and started to glue them down, they just looked off, so I trimmed mine.

For today’s card I was able to use all scraps, even my Whisper White card base that measures 4 1/4″ x 11″ was left over from another project. I think what I was most happy about was playing with the Plaid Tidings DSP once again! 🙂 I glued my down to a scrap of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and then glued it right to the card base. Next I cut out my two stitched rectangles, one in Cajun Craze and the other in Whisper Whtie cardstocks. These little layers are the perfect thing for your little scraps! I stamped my sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink and then glued the two rectangles together and attached it to the card front with dimensionals. I then grabbed a scrap of Pretty Peacock and stamped the leaf image with Versa Mark ink and then heat embossed it with some gold embossing powder and cut it out with the coordinating die. I added it to the card front with more dimensionals and added a double bow of the gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack with a mini glue dot. For my bling I use two of the adhesive backed sequins from the Artistry Bloom pack of sequins. That pack of sequins goes with EVERYTHING! If you don’t have a pack of those yet, it’s time to get some! I just love their subtle bling!!

For the inside of my card, I found another scrap of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and trimmed it to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and another piece of Whisper White cardstock that measured 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″. I stamped the leaf image again in Cinnamon Cider ink, stamping off first, and then the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink.

And don’t forget your envelope!! I stamped the leaf again in Cinnamon Cider ink, without stamping off.

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group in the comments of today’s post. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot, it’s all up to you! That’s the fun part of casing – there’s no rules because it’s all about your style! And don’t worry if you’re not a member of the group yet, just request to join! We would love to have you come over and play along.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a fantastic Tuesday and get to enjoy some crafting time!
