Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my neck of the woods, welcome! And be sure to join my email list for all the happenings around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a gorgeous card? I just love the look of the embossed foil! I pretty much followed the sketch with the same idea as the the foil, but went with a fall-themed card instead of Christmas.

I just had to use that Beautiful Autumn Bundle again before I really get into making my Christmas cards. I followed the measurements for the card front on the sketch with the exception of the tag. I think this tag measures a little bit bigger. I chose that gorgeous piece of DSP from the Gilded Autumn Specialty pack. I thought all of that gold embossing went perfectly with the idea of using a foil layer. I embossed that with the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder. You can’t really see many of the leaves on this layer, but the folder is really cute. It’s one of the smaller folders that will fit the new Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine when it is released. So I glued the DSP to a Cajun Craze card base and then glued embossed foil layer right to the DSP. I cut out my label from the Tasteful Labels Die Set and stamped my sentiment in Cajun Craze ink. I added some Stampin’ Seal Adhesive to the back of the label and adhered a piece of the copper trim from the Basket Weave and Metallic Combo pack. I added some dimensionals to the back and attached it to the card front. I then punched out the leaves and acorns from the Gilded Autumn pack and used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add them to the corners of the label. For my bling, I used the Artistry Blooms Sequins for a more tonal type of bling. I loved how they turned out!

For my inside layer, I had a scrap of Whisper White cardstock that measured 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and stamped the sentiment, also in Cajun Craze ink. I had an extra leaf that I had punched out, so I added it to the lower left corner with a Mini Glue Dot.

And don’t forget your envelope!! I had a strip left over so I glued it to the envelope flap and trimmed it to fit. I think it really makes it all come together when everything coordinates.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create your card exactly like the sample or change it up a little or a lot; it’s all up to you! That’s what is so fun with casing, you create it your way! And if you’re not a member of the group yet, not a problem. Just request to join. We would love to have you come and play along with us.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I have helped inspire you to create something beautiful today. And when you do, please share it with us! Have a great Tuesday!
