Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! If this is your first time here, welcome and please be sure to join my email list for all the scrappy news going on in my neck of the woods! Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a great card? As you can see from my picture, I changed things up quite a bit, but isn’t that the fun part of casing?  🙂

I followed the sketch for all of my measurements, I just turned it into a landscape style card. I chose my favorite piece of the Poinsettia Place DSP (which happens to be on sale!) for my layer. I think it is such a beautiful pattern! And I have to say, this was a quick and easy card to create, especially since I used all scraps!

I chose an Early Espresso card base that was left over in my stash and glued the layer to the card front with the Stampin’ Seal adhesive. I know some have had issues with this adhesive, but I LOVE it! You just have to be gentle with it. I then pulled out my Poinsettia Petals stamp set and stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock, and then cut it out with the right size stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes dies. I then took a piece of the that gorgeous Faux Suede Trim and looped it to fit behind the circle and attached it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. Then I added the circle with dimensionals and sprinkled on some of the Champagne Rhinestones.

For the inside I found a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that measured 3 3/4″ x 5″ and stamped the sentiment, also in Early Espresso ink. I trimmed off a 1/2″ piece of the DSP and trimmed it down to 3 3/4″ and glued it right on the left edge of the layer, then both to the inside of the card.

And don’t forget to decorate those envelopes! Now since the paper is on sale, you can stock up and use on your envelopes, but since I was in a hurry, I just stamped one of the images on the front in Early Espresso ink.

I know before I send that out I will be adding the DSP to the flap of the envelope though.  😉 Now it’s your turn. Create you take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. Now here’s the fun part; you can create any way you like! You can create your card exactly like the sample or sketch or change it up a little or a lot…it’s all up to you! Then once you’ve created it, share it in today’s sample thread. Don’t worry if you’re not a member of the group – just request to join. We would love to have you come and play along with us.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope my project gives you some inspiration to play today. Have a great Tuesday and we’ll catch you later!
