Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! If this is your first time stopping by my neck of the woods, welcome and be sure to join my email list for all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we’re casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a pretty card? For some reason I struggled with this week’s project and I’m not sure why. But, I was able to create this using all scraps!! Woo hoo!!!

Here are the measurements for my card:

  • Card base in Cinnamon Cider cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Petal Pink cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5 14/16″ (like that one?? lol)
  • Flowers for Every Season DSP cut at 1/2″ x 5 1/2″

So, when I went through my scraps, I came across this embossed piece of Petal Pink cardstock. I had embossed this last year when the Good Morning Magnolia suite of products were new, but I never used it. I then went in search of something to go with it. I found the little strip of Flowers for Every Season DSP and thought that might work. It was really hard to see the magnolias that were embossed on the cardstock, so I grabbed one of my sponges and lightly sponged over the top of both magnolias. I really liked how it turned out. Then I stamped the sentiment in Cinnamon Cider ink on the lower left corner.  I wanted to have 1/4″ of the card base to show on the right side of the striped piece of DSP, so I trimmed down the cardstock layer and glued the two together and then both to the card base. I then pulled out my Champagne Rhinestones for my bling.

For the inside, I pulled out a scrap of Whisper White that measures 3 3/4″ x 5″ and stamped the large magnolia in Petal Pink ink, stamping off first. I then stamped the sentiment in Cider Cinnamon ink and then sponged the edges to bring in the front of the card.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample, or change it up a little or a lot. That’s the fun part of casing, you get to create it the way you want to. If you’re not a member of the group yet, that’s okay, just request to join. We would love to have you come over and play along!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic Tuesday. For all the product information on today’s project, just click on any of my pictures and it will take you right to my online store.
