Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I am so glad you stopped by and if this is your first time visiting, please be sure to join my email list to keep up with all the scrappy news in my neck of the woods. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we’re casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

For my take this week, I just followed the sketch for all my measurements. I needed something fairly simple, and didn’t really add anything but my bling.

I started with a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Memento Ink. Next I grabbed my Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers and colored. For the sand area I used my Light Crumb Cake marker and the sky around the girls I used my Light Pool Party marker. I used my Ivory marker for their skin. I used the Flirty Flamingo markers for the older girl’s dress and the Bermuda Bay for the younger girl’s dress. I used Mango Melody for their pails and for the the hair I used the Bronze marker for the older girl and the Cinnamon Cider for the younger girl’s hair. For some reason I see my younger sister and myself in this image, which is why I chose the hair colors I that I did. Once I was done coloring, I cut out the images with the largest stitched circle die from the Stitched Shapes Die Set. I had a Pool Party cardstock card base in my stash, so I went with a piece of the Pool Party DSP from the Subtles DSP pack and cut it to size. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Ink and then glued it to the card front. I added some of the Stampin’ Seal to the back of the stitched circle and then cut a piece of the Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon and pressed it down in a loose zig-zag pattern. I added some dimensionals and adhered it to the card front. For my bling, I added some of the Holiday Rhinestones in Pool Party. I love the whole monochromatic look to this card!

For the inside, I had a piece of Whisper White cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ in my stash, so I stamped the grass image on the lower left corner in Memento Ink, but I stamped off first. I like to leave the sentiment off until I know who I know who’s getting the card.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot, it’s all up to you! That’s the fun part of casing, you get to put your spin on it! If you aren’t a member of the Facebook Group yet, that’s okay, just request to join. We would love to have you come over and play along!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a terrific Tuesday and get to do something for you!
