Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! If this is your first time visiting my little neck of the woods, welcome and be sure to join my email list for all the scrappy news around here! Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we’re casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

The measurements are for a note card, but I turned mine into a regular A2 sized card.

This was easy to create into a regular A2 )8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″) sized card just by adding the elements from sketch to a card base. The best part of my card is that everything, including the card base is from my scraps! Woo hoo!! Way to  My card base is in Bumble Bee cardstock and I followed all the measurements in the sketch for my other layers. I started by choosing my DSP from the Flowers for Every Season pack.I had some scraps leftover from a previous class, so I chose my pattern and trimmed it to size. Next I took a scrap of Just Jade cardstock, trimmed it to size and embossed it with the new Meadow Moments Embossing Folder. That is such a cute folder! Love all the butterflies on it. Next I took a scrap of Misty Moonlight and trimmed it to size and then stamped the sunflower in Misty Moonlight ink. I glued that to the card base and then layered the other two layers with dimensionals. I trimmed a scrap of Whisper White to the measurements and stamped the sentiment from the stamp set, also in Misty Moonlight ink. I added that to the card front with a double layer of dimensionals on the left side and just a little Stampin’ Seal on the right side because of all the depth. At this point I realized I forgot my ribbon, so I had a piece of the Playing with Patterns Night of Navy ribbon sitting on my desk and thought it went perfectly! Since I had so much height on the layers, I was able to slide the ribbon underneath and then tie it in a bow at the top. It worked perfectly! Then I added some of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

For the inside, I had a piece of Whisper White in my scraps that measured 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and stamped the sunflower again, stamping off first.

I decided not to add a sentiment yet, but isn’t that sunflower so pretty in the blue? Especially against the yellow! Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create yours any way you like, copy it just as is, or change it up a little or a lot; it’s all up to you. That’s the fun part of casing, you get to create it anyway you want. And if you’re not a member of the group yet, no worries; just request to join! We would love to have you come and play along with us!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Be sure to let me know how you like today’s case! Have a great Tuesday!
