Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday!! If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list for all the scrappy news in my corner of the world. Can you believe it’s the last CASE-ing Tuesday for the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog and the January – June Mini Catalog? I would be sad about that, but that means tomorrow is time for the new 2020/2021 Annual Catalog!! Woo hoo!! So have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning? If you haven’t, here’s what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week:

I love that we have sketches along with the sample pictures. Having the measurements really help take a lot of the thought process out and you can get right to creating, our favorite part!

As you can see, I followed the sketch pretty closely with just a couple of small changes. I basically followed the measurements for my card. Knowing that today was the last day to use this gorgeous DSP, the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP, it was a pretty easy choice to make. I went with a Petal Pink card base and then added the stitched rectangle of the DSP. I stamped the flower image in Memento ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and then colored it with the Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers. Those markers sure have brought back my love of coloring! I cut a piece of the Champagne Foil paper to 1 1/4″ x 4″ and added a piece of the Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon, then added it to the card base. I cut out an oval in Sof Sea Foam cardstock and added it to the card front with dimensionals and then added the flowers on top with more dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink, flagged the edge and glued it to the card, just tucking it under the flowers. I added some of the Champagne Rhinestones and called it done!

I love the soft colors of Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam together. I thought the Soft Sea Foam just popped off the card, what do you think? For the inside, I had a scrap of Whisper White cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″, so I stamped the flower image in Petal Pink ink, stamping off first, and then glued it to the inside of the card. I’ll add the sentiment later.

So now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample, or change it up a little or a lot, it’s all up to you. That’s the fun part of casing, there are no rules!! And don’t worry if your not a member, just request to join. We would love to have come over and play along!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a terrific Tuesday. Don’t forget, starting this week, my Facebook Live moves from Wednesdays to Thursdays! Have a good one!
