Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list for all the scrappy news around here. I hope your week is going well. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:
Isn’t that card adorable? My take this week is a little different, which is what makes casing so much fun! There are no rules and you can pretty much do what you want! lol I just wasn’t feeling the whole, cutting out labels in the same color cardstock for a monotone look this week so I went with a piece of DSP. I tend to do that a lot as I have a real love of paper…just like most of us!
I think this piece of DSP from the Tropical Oasis pack is my very favorite, which is probably why I use gravitate towards every time I pull out the pack. The piece for my card is cut at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. I added it to a Daffodil Delight card base with some Snail adhesive. Then I stamped the sentiment in Lovely Lipstick ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and then punched it out with the Story Label punch. I added quite a bit of snail to the back of the label and added a piece of that gorgeous Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon in a zig-zag pattern, then added some dimensionals and attached it to the card. Next I sprinkled on some rhinestones and called the front of the card done.
For the inside, I had a piece of Whisper White in my stash that measures 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and I stamped the plumeria flower in Daffodil Delight ink, stamping off first so it was very light, and then added the sentiment in Lovely Lipstick ink.
I did the same technique on the envelope. Remember, we don’t want naked envelopes going out in the mail!!! 😉
Now it’s your turn! Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. This is where the fun part comes in….you can create it any way you like! You can create it as is, or change it up a little or a lot; it’s all up to you! If you’re not a member of the group yet, not a problem! Just request to join! We would love to have you come over and play along with us.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you come back tomorrow for my Facebook Live project. Have a terrific Tuesday!
