Welcome to the last CASE-ing Tuesday of March! I can’t believe it’s the very last day of Sale-a-bration too!! It’s always such a fun time of year and I hate to see it end, and that’s why I chose Sale-a-bration items for today’s card. Definitely a very cute card, but I was not in a lacey mood this morning!! That’s the great part of casing (copy and share everything), I could change up my card to fit my mood!! lol
I followed the sketch for all of my measurements, so it made creating this pretty quick and easy. And…everything on my card was created with scraps! Woo hoo!! Best way to use them up! I started by pulling out some of that gorgeous Lily Impressions DSP, that sadly won’t be available after today. I then went in search of my card base and bottom layer in coordinating colors. I chose a Bermuda Bay card base and a Pool Party scrap for the bottom layer. I attached the three layers to the card base with Snail Adhesive just as the sketch shows. I love that we have sketches! It makes creating so much quicker!! Then I grabbed the Tags in Bloom stamp set, another Sale-a-bration item that won’t be available after today. I stamped the stitched outline in Bermuda Bay ink and the sentiment, (my favorite ever and I’ve been saying this for a long time!!) in Gorgeous Grape ink. I punched it out with the Label Me Lovely punch and then added it to the card front with dimensionals. Next I punched out a flower in Pool Party cardstock with the Small Bloom punch, another SAB item. I added it to the label with a Mini Glue Dot and then added a small bow in Whisper White Baker’s Twine, also with a Mini Glue Dot. Sprinkled on a few rhinestones and the card front was done.
For the inside I added a piece of Whisper White cardstock that is cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and then stamped the flower in Gorgeous Grape ink. I didn’t stamp a sentiment yet as I am not sure who I’m sending this too, but it’s all ready to go when I need it.
