Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! If this is your first time here, welcome! And please be sure to join my email list for all the scrappy news around my neck of the woods. I have to say that I just love Tuesdays! There’s just so much creativity with the fun at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group.

Have you been over to the Facebook Group to see what we’re casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s the sample and the sketch:

I love that we have sketches now, it really helps when you’re having creative mojo issues, not to mention, it just makes creating the project that much quicker. I followed the measurements in the sketch for most of my card today. And the best part of my card? It’s made from all scraps! Gotta love using up those scraps!

I started with a Melon Mambo card base that was in my stash. I chose a piece of the new Lily Impressions DSP to go with it. I just love this paper, and not just because it’s something you can get for free during Sale-a-bration either. It’s just gorgeous paper, every single sheet! I started by taking a stripe of Bermuda Bay cardstock from my scrap file and punched out the ribbon piece with the Decorative Ribbon Punch. Then I cut a strip of the Sparkle Glimmer paper to the 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ measurements and glued it to the ribbon strip with some Snail adhesive, then glued both to the card base. The I cut my piece of DSP to 2 7/8″ x 5 1/2″ to fit right to the end of the card base. I glued that down and then rounded the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch. Next I grabbed a piece of the Lovely Lipstick Grosgrain Ribbon and tied it around the card. I love how the lilies in the paper bring out both the Melon Mambo and Lovely Lipstick colors. For the sentiment, I chose my stamp and colored with my Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Markers. Having the markers to use to ink stamps gives you so many options for color! To color the stamp, you use the brush end of the marker, color the area you want and then to moisten the ink again, just huff on the stamp and stamp it on the paper. After I did this with my sentiment I punched it out with the new Label Me Fancy Punch. I added it to the card front with dimensionals, added some rhinestones and I was done!

I love all the colors in this card! Now it’s your turn. Create your take on the sample. You can create it as is, change it up a little or a lot; it’s all up to you! Then share it with us over at the Facebook Group. If you’re not a member yet, no worries! Just request to join; we would love to have play along with us!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a crafty Tuesday!
