Love to Craft? Join my Dazzling Divas team!

Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday Project! If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list! If you are a regular, welcome back! I know it’s been a little quiet around here and I am sorry for that. We’ve had some family “stuff” going on and I just needed to step away. Hopefully things will start to calm down now.  🙂  Have you seen what we’re casing over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look:

Isn’t that little elf the cutest?!? I followed the sketch for my card, but I used the head elf myself!! Lol I used the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set and die bundle with the Night Before Christmas DSP. I love how it easy it is to coordinate everything with Stampin’ Up! products! All my measurements match the ones in the sketch. Sketches make our crafting lives sooooo much easier! You don’t have to do anything but pick out your stamps, ink and paper! Easy peasy!

The best part of my card is that it’s created from all scraps! Woo hoo!! My card base is actually 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and then I turned it on the landscape to match the sketch. I started by stamping Santa in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored him with my Blends Markers, SU!’s alcohol makers. I love coloring, it’s just so therapeutic! Then I cut him out with the coordinating die. I cut out the circle of vellum using the Layering Circles die. I already had the stitched rectangle leftover from another project so all I needed to do was stamp it. Score! I found the little piece of DSP for the strip under the rectangle and trimmed it to measure. I stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade ink to the left of the rectangle since my Santa is a little bigger then the elf. I glued the DSP to the card front, and then added the vellum circle with some Snail adhesive. Since the Santa was going to cover most of the circle, I wasn’t worried about the adhesive showing. I then glued the strip to the back of the rectangle and added it to the card front with dimensionals. I added some more dimensionals on my Santa, and then added him to the card. For my bling, I used some of the Holiday Rhinestones. I really like how this card turned out! What do you think?

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. Here’s the fun part, since your casing (copy and share everything), you get to create the way you want it. You can create it exactly as it is, or change it up a little or a lot, it’s all up to you! And if you’re not a member of the group yet, no worries, just request to join. We would love to have you come over and play along!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
