Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I am so glad you stopped by and if this is your first time here, please be sure to join my email list so you can keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what we’re casing? If not, here is a look of the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? As you can tell, I didn’t deviate too far from the sample. I have had this set for a little while and couldn’t wait to play with it. Then I sat down to play and….nothing. Good thing I had a sample to follow!! lol I used Real Red for my card base and the piece of DSP is from the Let It Snow Specialty DSP pack. I wanted to create something clean and simple, so I cut out three of the mugs in Whisper White cardstock. I then cut out the poinsettia outline in Real Red cardstock and glued it down to one of the mugs using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. Next I cut out the stripes in Pool Party cardstock and glued it down to another. For the third mug I stamped the outline and the sentiment in Real Red ink. I then stamped a poinsettia in Real Red and cut it and added to the striped mug. I added the mugs to the card front with dimensionals and thought it needed something else. So I cut out a bow in Pool Party cardstock and added it to the middle mug. I still wasn’t happy with it, so I got out my rhinestones and “blinged” it up.  🙂

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. The fun thing about casing is that it’s all up to you; change it up a little or a lot, or even make it as is, there is no wrong way. If you’re not a member of the group yet, just request to join – we would love to have come over and play along.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
