I wasn’t in the Christmas mood yet, so I chose to go with another look at my Product of the Week, the Tasteful Textures Bundle. I followed the sketch for my measurements except I cut my DSP to 4″ x 5 1/4″ so that it brought out more of the Daffodil Delight color in the piece of See A Silhouette DSP. This was a pretty simple card. I started by cutting my piece of DSP and gluing it to the card base. I cut the Stitched Nested Label in Whisper White and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and glued it to the card base. Next I cut a scrap of Daffodil Delight with the die and then because it just cuts as a background, I had to fussy cut around the petals to create a die cut, not just a background die. I am not a fan of fussy cutting, but I will do it when needed. When I was done cutting it, I glued it to the card front with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue. For my bling, I added some of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones. I LOVE those rhinestones and all the pretty colors they come in!!!
For the inside layer, which is cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″, I stamped the coordinating image in Daffodil Delight ink, stamping off first. Then I added the sentiment in Night of Navy ink. I really, really like how this card turned out!
