Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I am so glad you’re stopping by and if this is your first time here, welcome! And be sure to join my email list for all the scrappy news from our little world. Have you seen the sample we’re casing over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If you haven’t, here’s a look at it and the sketch:

I love that we now include sketches! It’s makes casing (copy and share everything) so much easier, especially when you’re creative mojo has fled the scene. For my take on today’s card, I followed the measurements in the sketch exactly. I used the Animal Outing stamp set and chose that cute little rhino. I cut my piece of Whisper White to size and stamped the image with Tuxedo Black ink so I could color with my Stampin’ Blends, our line of alcohol markers that come in our exclusive colors in a light and dark marker for each color. I started by coloring the rhino with the Granite Gray combo. I love how easy it is to color with these markers! Next I colored the bird with the Granny Apple Green combo, the Light Lovely Lipstick and the Light Pumpkin Pie markers. For the ground I started to color the area around the rhino’s feet with the Light Granny Apple Green, but I didn’t like it, so I covered it all with the Light Crumb Cake marker. For the sky I used the Light Pool Party maker. Next I rounded the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch and added the two scraps of the Gray Granite ribbon with some Mini Glue Dots. I then took a scrap piece of Granny Apple Green, cut it to size and embossed it with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder and set it aside. I took a Gray Granite card base and stamped the sentiment in Gray Granite ink towards the bottom of the card base. Then I assembled the card. I love how it turned out!

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. The fun part about casing is you get to decide how it turns out. You can create the card exactly as is or change it up a little or a lot, it’s all up to you! If you aren’t a member yet, not to worry, just request to join, we’d love to have you play along!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
