Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet to see today’s sample? If not, here is a look at both the sample and the sketch:

I fell in love with this sample! In fact, I couldn’t change it much because I did love it so much! I almost made it exactly as is, but I decided on just changing the color palette. I followed the measurements exactly as is with the exception of changing out the punch for the sentiment.

I went with the new In Color, Rococo Rose for my card base and the In Color DSP layer. Once I cut the DSP, I even notched it with the 1/2″ circle punch like the sample shows. I glued my vellum cardstock right to the DSP and didn’t worry about it showing since the Whisper White layer would cover it. Then I tied a piece of the Braided Linen Trim around it and then glued it to the card base. I stamped the flowers in Rococo Rose ink, stamping off first so that the flower centers that were stamped in Crumb Cake ink would show. Then I stamped the leaves in Shaded Spruce and Crumb Cake inks. I used an Aqua Painter to pick up some Rococo Rose ink and tapped it on my finger to splatter some of the ink onto the layer. And then took my Wink of Stella (or as we call it here in the studio “Wanda”) over the layer also to give it some bling. I glued it down to the DSP and then sprinkled on some of the gold Metallic Pearls. I stamped the sentiment in Rococo Rose ink, punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch and added it to the card front with dimensionals. I thought it could use some bling too, so I added some more of the pearls. And that was it! That is the very best part of casing (copy and share everything), it just makes creating so much faster!!

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can make it as is, or change it up, it’s all up to you! If you’re not a member of the group yet, that’s okay, just request to join. We would love to have you come over and play along! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
