Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday!! If this is your first time visiting, welcome!! Be sure to say hi and join my email list! Have you been to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what we’re casing? If not, here is a look at the sample:

I love that we include sketches now, it takes out all the work of figuring out measurements etc. and you can get right to crafting! I followed the sketch measurements for my card, which helped since I don’t have that frame die yet that was used in the sample. I chose that cute new In Color Purple Posy for my card base. Next I cut a piece of the In Color DSP to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and glued it down. For the frame look, I took a piece of the Purple Posy cardstock and cut it 3″ x 4 1/4″ and embossed it with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Next I took a piece of 2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped it with the Crackle Paint background stamp in Crumb Cake ink. I glued that to the Purple Posy and added a piece of the Purple Posy Scalloped Linen Ribbon and glued it all down to the card base. Next I trimmed a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to the 5/8″ x 4″ and flagged the ends and added it with dimensionals over the ribbon like the sample. I cut the word thanks from the Well Written dies and added it to the Crumb Cake strip with some of our Fine Tip Glue. I punched out a large butterfly in the In Color DSP and a small butterfly in vellum and added it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot. I put one pearl on the butterflies and then colored some with the Dark Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Marker and added them to the card. Those Blends Markers are perfect for creating your own coordinating embellishments! And that’s it! I love how it turned out!!

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can change it up a little or a lot, it’s all up to you! That’s the beauty of casing, there’s no right or wrong way to do it, just your way! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
