Hey everyone! Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I don’t know about you, but I just love Tuesdays….probably because there’s so much fun to be had over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group! Here’s what we’re casing today along with the sketch:

I followed the measurements in the sketch for my card. I used Gray Granite for the card base and a piece of the the Broadway Bound Designer Series Paper for the large layer. I like how the card base just peeks out of the DSP. Then I cut a piece of Gold Foil for the strip and added a piece of the Black Shimmer Ribbon. I can’t believe that is retiring!! I absolutely LOVE that ribbon!! Next I pulled out a scrap of Silver Foil and another of Black Foil and punched out the balloons. I added Mini Glue Dots to the back of them and a dimensional on each. Then I cut some of the Whisper White Baker’s Twine and added it to each balloon. After I adhered them to the card front, I twisted the three pieces of twine and glued them down with a Mini Glue Dot. I tied a bow in another piece of twine and added it over the Mini Glue dot. Next I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch. I like that the sentiment makes it so that this card can be used for a special occasion or a birthday. Next I added sentiment layer to the card with more dimensionals and finished it off with rhinestones.

I like the way the rhinestones imitate the DSP. I cut a 1/2″ x 4″ strip of that DSP and added it to a 3″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock and layered on the inside. I had punched a Gold Foil balloon for the front originally, but it got lost on the Gold Foil strip, so I added it to the inside of the card. I think it turned out cute, what do you think?

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. If you’re not a member yet, just ask to join. We would love to have come over and play along! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
