Hey everyone! Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I know I’m a little late with today’s post, but I was out of the office yesterday hanging out with my sweet grandson Charlie. I love that kid! But I am back today showcasing my Product of the Week, the Fable Friends.Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group today? Here’s what we’re casing and the sketch for it:
I followed the sketch with the exception of the sentiment banner; mine is 1 3/4″ x 3″ so that I could add my sentiment to it. I almost used all scraps for today’s card. I had to create the card base from a full sheet of Grapefruit Grove cardstock, but the other pieces were leftovers. I started by stamping my sentiment from the Fable Friends in Tuxedo Black ink, then stamped the geese above the sentiment. To keep it light, I chose to use the light colors in the Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used Pumpkin Pie for the beaks and feet and Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight for their clothes. Next I grabbed a piece of the Grapefruit Grove Twine from the Nature’s Twine pack and tied it around my strip of Gingham Gala DSP. I adhered it down with Snail and added my geese layer with dimensionals. Then I added some of the Grapefruit Grove adhesive backed sequins from the Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins pack and ta da! All done! That is the nice part about Stampin’ Up! products – everything coordinates even from different suites. Here’s a close up of those adorable geese:
