Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I just love Tuesdays, it’s just so much better then Mondays! lol Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet to see the card we’re casing or the sketch? If not, here’s a look at both:

For those that don’t know what “casing” means, it’s “copy and share everything”. This takes out a huge step in the designing process since you will be copying the sample. The best part is you put your spin on it. You can change it up a little or a lot, it’s all up to you! The sketches even give you all the dimensions so it makes it even easier!

I followed the sketch as is, but I added a piece of that gorgeous Floral Romance Vellum that was cut at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ to match the dimensions. I love this Designer Series Paper! And the way Stampin’ Up! has so many coordinating products, it makes it easy to match everything up!

When you use vellum you need to be careful when you adhere it down. Because it is see-through, you have to hide where you put the adhesive. I ran a strip down the center of the piece I used and then four Mini Glue Dots in the corners. The print on the vellum really helps to hide the adhesive. Before I glued it down to the card base, I added a piece of the Silver & Petal Pink Baker’s Twine and tied it in a knot in the middle so that the sentiment panel would hide it. I had another piece of the twine left from another project and tied it in a bow and set it aside. I used the new Well Said Bundle like the sample and cut out the bride and groom words in Silver Foil. I used Petal Pink for the sentiment layer and cut it out with the new Stitched Rectangle Framelits. (LOOOVVVEE them!!!!) I stamped the words “For The” and “&” in Smokey Slate ink and then glued the bride and groom down using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. A word of caution when using that glue…a little goes a long way, so just a few dots on the back of the word works just fine. I then added some dimensionals to the back and added it to the card front. Next I added the bow with another Mini Glue Dot. You know me and bling…I just had to add some, but to keep it subtle, I used some of the Silver Metallic Pearls. The perfect wedding card.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. Don’t worry if you’re not a member yet, just request to join. We would love to have you come over and play along! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
