Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Have you had a chance to see what we’re casing today over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s the sample and the sketch:

I love that we now include sketches with our challenges, it just makes it easier to design when you have all the measurements right there in front of you. For those that aren’t sure what “casing” is, it is “copy and share everything”, and the best part of this is you get to create it the way you want, you can change it up a little or a lot, no rules!

I followed the sketch measurements just as it is today, and the best part, everything I used was scraps! Gotta love using up those scraps! The sample has stamping on the card base, but because I was using Night of Navy cardstock, I chose to leave it blank. I cut my scrap of vellum to the 5 1/8″ x 2 1/4″, then took a piece of the Night of Navy Gingham ribbon and wrapped it around and adhered it with Mini Glue Dots, then adhered it to the card base. I added a strip of the Floral Romance Specialty DSP over the vellum layer and adhered it with some Snail adhesive. I stamped the the image from one of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets, By the Bay, in Sahara Sand ink and cut it out with the stitched circle and added it to the card with dimensionals. Next I cut a strip of Sahara Sand cardstock to the measurements listed, flagged the end with the Banner Triple Punch and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink. I wrapped another piece of the gingham ribbon and tied it in a knot, added dimensionals and adhered it to the card. Next I colored some rhinestones with the Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends marker and added them to the card. I love that we can create matching embellishments with those markers!

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. Don’t worry if you’re not a member, just request to join. We’d really love to have you come over and play along. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
