Good morning! Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday!! Can you believe it’s the very last Tuesday of October and tomorrow is Halloween?!? Wow! This month flew by!! So, have you seen what we’re casing this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the card:

Isn’t that a cute card? It’s created using one of the Hostess Stamp Sets in the Holiday Catalog, the Warm Hearted Stamp Set. It is such a versatile set!! I even made it my Product of the Week this week. Here are the measurements for my card:

  • Card base in Pumpkin Pie cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Pumpkin Pie cardstock layer cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″, embossed
  • Black Foil paper cut at 2 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 2″ x 3″

So since tomorrow is Halloween, I just had to use the Boo sentiment!! I followed the basic sketch of today’s card, but with a spooky theme. I embossed my layer the same using the Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder and then added a piece of that gorgeous Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and adhered it to the card base. Next I stamped my sentiment in Tuxedo Black and Pumpkin Pie inks and added some Wink of Stella (gotta add that bling!), then adhered it to the Black Foil. I cut out a cat from the Toil & Trouble DSP and added it with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added some dimensionals to the back of the layer, then added it to the card base over the ribbon. I still had a small piece of the black foil, so I punched out a couple of the Spooky Bats and added them to the card front. I have to say that this year’s Halloween products in our Holiday Catalog have been some of the cutest ever and the most fun to use. I’m sorry that part of the season is almost over!

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s card and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just as it is, or change it up. That’s the fun of casing, it’s all up to you! And the the real fun is seeing all the inspiration from everyone. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
