Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday!! Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning? If you haven’t, here’s what we are casing today:

Isn’t that a gorgeous card? I just love the gold foil on white, it’s just so striking! As you can see, I changed mine up a little. Here are the measurements for my card:

  • Card base in Tranquil Tide cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Joyous Noel Specialty DSP cut at 5″ x 3 1/2″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 3/8″ and 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
  • Copper Foil paper cut at 3/4″ x 2 3/4″

This is another one of my “made from all scraps” cards, which helps me clear up all those left overs! I chose the DSP as it had the striped leaves pattern done in the copper foil, so I cut my Whisper White to fit, similar to the card we’re casing. I embossed it with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder and adhered it to the DSP, then both to the card base. I cut out the deer in the Copper Foil and the little flowers in Whisper White. I added the deer to the card front with dimensionals, and the flowers with Mini Glue Dots. If you roll the dots with your fingers, you actually create some dimension to whatever you are gluing, and that’s what I did here. Then I stamped the sentiment in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with the Copper Embossing Powder, adhered it to the Copper Foil strip and added it to the card front with dimensionals. I thought the flowers needed a little bling, so I colored one of the small rhinestones with my Bronze Stampin’ Blends Marker and added it. Just enough bling!

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s sample, then share it with us over at the Facebook Group. If you’re not a member of the group yet, that’s okay! We’d love to have you join and play along. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
