Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see today’s case? If you haven’t, here’s a look at what we’re casing:
I love everything about the Festive Farmhouse Suite and just had to case the card with only a few changes. I wanted to incorporate my Product of the Week, the Seasonal Chums, so thought the little reindeer would go perfectly with this card. Here are the measurements of my card:
- Card base in Mossy Meadow cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and 3 3/4″ x 5″ embossed
- Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
- Festive Farmhouse DSP cut at 2″ x 3″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 1/2″ x 2″
After I prepped the card base, the Cherry Cobbler layer and the embossed layer, I attached them all together with Snail adhesive. I added the striped burlap ribbon with some Mini Glue Dots, and added the DSP with some dimensionals. Next I punched out a 2″ circle of Mossy Meadow and attached the strip of Cherry Cobbler to the back, and then added it to the card base with dimensionals. Next I stamped the reindeer and colored him with the Stampin’ Blends Markers. This image is a double image of the front and back of the deer, but I only wanted to use the front. After I cut him out, I snipped off the back half of the tag. I added him with a couple of dimensionals. Instead of using a button, I cut out a snowflake in the Galvanized Metallic Paper and added it with a Mini Dimensional. I tied a small bow of the Cherry Cobbler Cotton Twine and added it with a Mini Glue Dot. I stamped the sentiment on the little strip of Whisper White, flagged the ends and added it to the front of the card. That little reindeer is just too stinking cute! I probably should have colored his nose in red!! lol
Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s case and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can change it up a little or a lot, or not at all. That’s the beauty of casing, it’s all up to you! We really hope you come over to play along, it’s such a fun group! Thanks for stopping by!
