Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! It’s hard to believe that it’s the first week of fall, but I have to say, I am happy it’s here! Now if our weather would only cooperate!! lol Have you seen this week’s case over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here is what we are casing this week:
I didn’t deviate too much from it, just changed out the stamp set and inks. Here are the measurements to the card I created:
- Card base in Merry Merlot cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper cut at 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
I wanted to use my Product of the Week, which is the Falling Leaves Bundle, and I thought the design of this card would be easy to incorporate with that bundle. After I cut the card base, I adhered the strip of glimmer paper to it. Next I stamped the leaves in a similar pattern using Merry Merlot, Crushed Curry and Garden Green inks. I adhered that layer to the card base with Mini Glue Dots at the top and Snail on the bottom. Next I stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot ink on a scrap of Crumb Cake and ran it through the Big Shot with the second to largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I added it to the card front with dimensionals and sprinkled on some rhinestones. I really like how it turned out.
Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s card and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can change it up a little or a lot, it’s up to you. If you’re not a member of the group yet, that’s okay, we would love to have you join!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
