Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Can you believe it’s number 160? How cool is that? In case you haven’t been over to the Facebook Group this morning, here’s a look at today’s card we’re casing:
Isn’t that adorable? I don’t have that set yet, so this is where changing up your case comes in handy. For those that don’t know what casing means, it’s copy and share everything – CASE. The nice thing about it is you can create something exactly as you see it or change it a little or a lot, it’s all up to you! I kept the general design the same, just changed up the papers and the stamp set. Here are the measurements for my card:
- Card base in Blushing Bride cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Tropical Escape DSP cut at 4″ x 4″
Even though this is a square card, it will still fit in a regular A2 or invitations sized envelope. I chose the Tropical Chic bundle to create with today since it is my product of the week and because I wanted something pretty. We’ve been smoked in for the last 3 weeks and haven’t seen any blue skies, so I made my own summery look. After I cut the card base and DSP I added the ribbon and adhered it down to the card base. Next I stamped the leaf and flower and cut them out with the framelits, then cut the palm frond in Shaded Spruce cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink too. Then I added some Snail adhesive to the back of the tag and added the palm frond and leaf, then a couple of dimensionals and adhered it to the card front. Next I added the flower with another dimensional and some clear rhinestones and voila! Isn’t that a sweet thank you card? I love the color combination in that DSP! Perfect for summer!
Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s card and share it with us over on the Facebook Group. If you’re not a member, that’s okay, just request to join. We would love to have you come over and see all the inspiration from everyone and show us some of your own inspiration too. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Tuesday!
