Happy Tuesday!! Are you ready for another CASE-ing Tuesday? If you haven’t been to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group, here’s a look at this week’s case:

I love that this week’s choice uses the Graceful Garden stamp set that was in last year’s catalog. It really was one of my favorite sets. For my card I decided to use the same set, and that’s basically where the comparison ends. I went with “change it up a lot”.   🙂   Here are the measurements on my card:

  • Card base in Melon Mambo cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Wood Textures DSP cut at 2 1/4″ x 5 1/2″

I started to to use some Watercolor Paper, but since my Product of the Week is our Designer Series Paper, I chose to use some of that instead. I stamped the large rose in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then grabbed my Watercolor Pencils and colored the rose with Melon Mambo and Old Olive. Then I blended them with our Blender Pens. Once I was finished blending it the way I wanted, I added some Wink of Stella to give it some shimmer. Then I added some Linen Thread and a double bow. I went with a piece of the Pearlized Doily and adhered it with some Snail. I stamped the sentiment in the Memento ink. I then followed the sample by stamping the pattern on the card base in Melon Mambo ink, then added my DSP strip. I wanted to add pearls, but thought the white ones might not show well on the white washed wood look, so I grabbed my Share What You Love pearls. I thought it turned out perfectly.

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on today’s sample. You can change it up a little or a lot, or create it just like it is in the catalog. Then share it on the Facebook Group.  Don’t worry if you’re not a member, we would love to add you; just request to join. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed today’s case. Have a great Tuesday!!
