Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Today’s card is perfect for the early morning!! Who doesn’t need their coffee in the morning? Have you seen today’s sample on the Facebook Page? If not, here’s a look at it:
It’s definitely a quick and easy card to create, and with my busy schedule this week, I went with quick and easy too. 🙂 I used the Coffee Break Suite too for my card. I love this suite! In fact, it was one of the item suites I purchased when the catalog first came out last year. I don’t really know of anyone that doesn’t like coffee, so this is definitely one of my go to items. The measurements for my card are:
- Card base in Early Espresso cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Soft Sky layer cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
- Coffee Break DSP cut at 3″ x 4″
After I cut and folded the card base, I adhered the DSP to the Soft Sky layer. I took a piece of the Soft Sky 3/8″ Classic Weave Ribbon and tied it around the layers. I cut out the coffee cup in Whisper White and the lid in Early Espresso using the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies. So stinking cute! I just love those dies! I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green and the heart in Soft Sky. I adhered the lid and the cup together and added them to the card with dimensionals. Of course I had to add my bling, so I added the rhinestones. I love it!
