Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Are you ready for some fun inspiration? I love this group and all the beautiful projects that are shared on the Facebook Group. Have you seen today’s case? If not, here it is:
Isn’t it adorable? It’s definitely a quick and easy card, but it so cute! I chose to create something very similar, all because I had only one of the Bitty Bows left in my stash and it’s in Fresh Fig. So here are the measurements of my card:
- Card base in Fresh Fig cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
- Fresh Florals DSP cut at 3″ x 5 1/2″
Since I was changing things up already, I chose the flower pattern in the Fresh Florals DSP pack and decided to go with the Diagonal Stripe Background Stamp. I pulled out my Stamparatus so I could make sure that my background stamped perfectly, and of course it did!! I love that little contraption!! 🙂 So I stamped the background in Fresh Fig to go with the whole monochromatic theme. I love that if you miss a spot, you can restamp in the exact same spot on the cardstock. Then I adhered the DSP to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Just Add Text stamp set on a scrap of Whisper White and punched it out with the 2″ circle punch. I punched a scrap piece of Fresh Fig with the Starburst punch and adhered it to the circle. I wanted to add some bling, so I grabbed my 2 1/4″ circle punch and punched out a piece of the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper. the Iridescent color has a pink hue to it, so I thought that would work with the Fresh Fig. I added some dimensionals to it and adhered it to the card front. I added my Bitty Bow, but thought it was missing something. I grabbed the heart from the Silver Metallic Enamel Shapes and added it to the bow. I love how it breaks up all the purple and of course the added bling is always nice to have! Here’s a close up look at it:
Now it’s your turn. Create something using our samples as inspiration and share it on the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. And don’t worry if you’re not a member yet; just request to join and you can play along with us. The best part about this group is when you are in a creativity funk, you can always check us out for some inspiration.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a great Tuesday!

That answers my question about punches ability to punch glimmer paper
Yes they are great with glimmer paper, but they don’t like our window sheets. I had a circle punch break at a class when we were punching a bunch of window sheet circles. 🙁
