Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I love Tuesdays just for this reason! Have you had a chance to see what the sample card is? If not, here it is:

Isn’t that card adorable? I love the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set! It has so many cute sentiments and the font is adorable. I have the stamp set just because of the sentiments, but never got the framelits. So, with that in mind, I used the Flourishing Phrases and coordinating framelits. That set also has good sentiments. I have used it many times, especially for the sympathy sentiments. Those are always hard cards to create, but this set makes easier to create something beautiful. So the measurements on my card are:

  • Card base in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock cut with the Layering Square Framelits

I basically went with the same sketch concept with this card except for embossing the card base. I wanted to keep the focus on the flowers, so I didn’t emboss mine. I used Dapper Denim for the flower. I love that paired with Lemon Lime Twist almost as much as I love Basic Black with Lemon Lime Twist. So once I cut everything out, I stamped the hello in Basic Black Archival Ink and then layered the squares together. I added some Snail adhesive to the back and adhered the piece of doily, then added dimensionals and adhered it to the card front. Then I used  the Fine Tip Glue Pen to the back of the flowers and adhered it to the square. I took a piece of the Basic Black Baker’s Twine and tied a double bow and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot, sprinkled on some rhinestones and called it done. I love the colors together! I think it makes a very cheerful card.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on today’s sample and share it over on the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can change a little or a lot, or make it exactly as is. That’s the beauty of casing! If you’re not a member of the group yet, just request to join and you’ll be added. We would love for you to come and play with us! Have a great Tuesday!
