Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Today’s case is located in the Occasions Catalog on page 30. Here’s a look at the card in the catalog:

Isn’t it a cute card? And so perfect for Easter too. Daffodils were one of my Mom’s favorite flowers. Whenever mine come up, I instantly think of her. I don’t have this stamp set yet so I went with the lilies in the Remarkable You stamp set. Since I was going for the Easter theme, I thought they were perfect. Here are the measurements on my card:

  • Card base in Old Olive cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″

I first stamped the lilies with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink since I was color with the Stampin’ Blends Markers. I really hope Stampin’ Up! comes out with more of our colors in these markers, they’re just so easy to use! I colored the stems with the Old Olive markers and then the lilies with the Daffodil Delight markers. I love how seamless the alcohol markers are, they just color so effortlessly. Once I finished coloring, I adhered the Very Vanilla layer to the DSP layer. Then I took some of the Old Olive Sheer Ribbon and wrapped it around the two layers and tied it in a bow and adhered it to the card base. I stamped the Happy Easter sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in the Memento ink and cut it out using the small framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. It’s such a cute little framelit! I added some Mini Dimensionals and added it to the card. Since it was adhered more to the ribbon then the card base, I added a couple of Mini Glue Dots to secure it all down. I knew it needed some subtle bling, so I added a couple of pearls. I really liked how it turned out, how about you?

Now it’s your turn. Check out some of the inspiration on the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Page and then create something and share it with us. You can copy the sample exactly as shown, or change it up a little or a lot. That’s the fun part about casing….it’s all up to you! We would love it if you came over and played with us! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic Tuesday!
