Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday. I hope you all had a good Christmas and even get to enjoy some time off this week. So for here is the card we’re casing this week.
Can you tell which one it is? 🙂 I love the simplicity of it. I never did get any of the Quilted Christmas embellishments so I decided to use a different stamp set all together; I used the Wishes All Aglow stamp set. Here are the measurements of my card:
- Card base in Garden Green cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Quilted Garden DSP, cut at 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Whisper White cut at 2″ x 5 1/2″
After I cut the cardstock, I took the Whisper White piece and stamped the light bulbs to the right like the example above. Then using a Blender Pen and colored the bulbs in Pool Party, Real Red, and Lemon Lime Twist. Using some of our Stampin’ Write Markers, I colored the stamp of the tree made with the lights. I used the Garden Green for the cord, Lemon Lime Twist, Dapper Denim (should have used Pool Party, but it still turned out cute!), Real Red, Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo. After I added all the ink, I stamped it on a scrap piece of Whisper White and cut it out with my paper snips. I added it to the left of the bulbs with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I adhered the Whisper White strip to the DSP. added a piece of the Real Red Sheer Ribbon and tied it in a bow, then everything to the card front. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of Pool Party, flagged the ends and adhered it to the card front with Mini Dimensionals. Then I added some rhinestones and called it done.
