Happy Tuesday! Welcome to my first post as a blogger for the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group! I am so excited to be a part of this group with my fellow demonstrators! Not sure what CASE-ing Tuesday is? Well, it’s a Facebook Group that cases (copy and share everything) projects from current Stampin’ Up! catalogs. Everyone is welcome to join the group and play along, so head over here to join.  It’s so much fun to see all the different takes on a project and it can also give you inspiration to create something fun.

So for this week’s case, we’re casing the quick and easy red card at the bottom of page 44 of the Holiday Catalog. Here’s what it looks like:

Now who doesn’t love a quick and easy card, especially this time of year? Here are the measurements for my card:

  • Card base in Thick Whisper White cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Christmas Quilt DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4

I adhered the DSP to the card base, then I stamped the label from the Labels to Love stamp set in Garden Green and punched it out with the coordinating Everyday Label Punch and added it to the card. I then took a piece of the red Mini Tinsel Trim and tied it into a bow, then added it to the card with a mini glue dot. I thought it needed some bling, so I took out my Dark Cherry Cobbler Blends Marker and colored two rhinestones and added them to the punched label. And there you have it! How quick and easy was that?!?

Now it’s your turn to play along. Create your version of the card and post it to the group under today’s thread. That’s all there is to it. I just know you’ll have fun playing with us, so what are you waiting for?

Thanks for stopping by!
