Hey everyone! Happy Sunday evening! I hope you have had a fabulous holiday weekend and gobbled ’til you wobbled! We had an extremely busy weekend, but enjoyed every minute of it. I love the holidays and what comes with it.
So I wanted to share the card I created for the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. If you don’t know the group, it is one that has a challenge every Tuesday that cases (copy and share everything) projects from the current Stampin’ Up! catalogs. The way to participate is to create your version of the project chosen each week and post a picture on the post for that week. If you haven’t become a member of the group, just request to join.You can go here to join right now. It’s so much fun to see everyone’s projects. This week’s case is found in the Holiday Catalog on page 39.
Here are the measurements on my version of the card:
- Card base in Crumb Cake cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Scallop Circle from the Layering Circles Framelits in Crumb Cake
- Stitched Circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits in Whisper White
- Banner 3/4″ x 4″ and flagged at ends in Whisper White
To stamp the house, I colored it with a Marina Mist Marker, Real Red Marker, and Basic Gray Marker, then stamped it at the bottom of the circle. I stamped the smoke with Smoky Slate markers, and then added some trees in Garden Green. I stamped the stars in Crumb Cake and then adhered the circle to the scalloped circle. I added some dimensionals and then added it to the top of the card. I tied a double bow using the Linen Thread and adhered it with Mini Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment in Marina Mist on a scrap piece of Whisper White, flagged the ends and added it with dimensionals. Then added some rhinestones and called it done. I really like how it turned out, how about you?
