Hey everyone! Happy Monday and welcome to the first look at this week’s Product of the Week, the Candy Cane Season Bundle. If you love candy canes, then this set is for you! Here are the measurements for today’s project:

  • Card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
  • Call Me Clover cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Santa’s Workshop DSP cut at 2″ x 3 3/4″

I think candy canes are so symbolic with the holidays, in fact, I love them so much that I even had one of my bathrooms decorated in a candy cane theme; including the bath soap!! lol I really like the flocked paper from the Santa’s Workshop DSP, it goes perfect with this bundle. The Poppy Parade color in the paper goes perfectly with the Call Me Clover for the traditional Christmas colors. After I adhered the layers to the front of the card base, including using the Call Me Clover ribbon, I created the candy cane. It is actually a two-step stamp set that has the outline for both the candy cane and the bow. I stamped the candy cane in Poppy Parade (so happy that color came back!) and the bow is stamped in Call Me Clover. The solid part of the bow was stamped off and then I colored it in Wink of Stella to give it some shimmer. I cut out the scalloped oval in Call Me Clover cardstock and then the regular oval in Whisper White. I stamped the little sentiment in Call Me Clover ink too. That font is so cute! I adhered it to the scalloped oval, then added dimensionals and adhered it to the front of the card. I added some Mini Dimensionals to the candy cane and the bow and adhered it to the oval. Added some rhinestones and voila!! Didn’t that turn out cute?
