Happy Thursday everyone! I hope your week is going well. I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to pull off a Facebook Live this morning, but I just had to show you all of the goodies from our Creative Escape Retreat this past week end. And I wanted to show you one of the fun folds that everyone created in one of the card classes. You can see everything I showed off in this morning’s video on my YouTube Channel here. While you are there, I would be honored if you gave my video a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel.

Here are the measurements for my card:

  • Boho Blue card base cut at 5 1/2″ x 11″, scored at 4 1/4″, 5 1/2″, and 6 3/4″
  • One Horse Open Sleigh DSP 2 cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 1 cut at 1″ x 5 1/4′
  • Basic White cardstock cut at 3/4″ strip, 3″ x 4″ and 2″ x 3″

The easiest way to fold this card base is in half and then fold up the other two score lines to create a “W”. I added Stampin’ Seal to the inside of the “W” to secure it and create an A2 size card. If this is confusing, be sure to watch the video. I then attached the DSP to the outside of the card and one on the inside of the card. I then stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink, flagged the ends and added it to the card front with dimensionals. I added 3 of the snowflakes in white and then for extra bling, I added rhinestones.

Next I added the 1″ strip on the inside flap. I stamped the sentiment on the 3″ x 4″ white layer, added one of the copper snowflakes and attached it to the flap.

For the inside behind the flap, I added the 2″ x 3″ piece of white that I had stamped another sentiment and added another copper snowflake. It’s attached so that it hides behind the 3″ x 4″ layer.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped another sentiment on the flap.

Isn’t that a fun card? The stamp set goes so well with the DSP! If you haven’t added this to your collection, now is the time!! You can head over to my online store here. I also wanted to let you know that the registration just opened for my Fall Creative Escape Retreat. Check out all of the information here.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. If you have any questions about today’s project or my upcoming retreat, just give me a call! Have a great rest of your week!
