Hey everyone! Since there’s only 2 days left to get this gorgeous bundle, I wanted to remind you how beautiful it really is. 🙂 The other item that will only be available until Friday is the Watercolor Pencil Assortment 2 pack, which is what I used to color those pretty flowers. Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Card base in Granny Apple Green cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″, 1/2″ x 3″ for sentiment layer
- Brights DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Shimmery White paper cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
First I inked the stamp in Versa Mark and then in the Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it on the Shimmery White paper. Next I sprinkled on some Clear Embossing Powder and heat set it. I like how it makes the outlines of the images so much bolder. Next I colored the leaves with both the Garden Green and Granny Apple Green pencils, the flowers with the Gorgeous Grape pencil and the buds in Flirty Flamingo. I used the Daffodil Delight pencil from the original assortment for the center of the flower. Next I used my Wink of Stella to blend all the coloring. When you do that, just wipe it in between changing colors just like you do a Blender Pen. The shimmer of the Wink of Stella on the Shimmery White paper is just beautiful. I set that aside to dry and created the card base and DSP layer. I added the ribbon to the DSP and adhered it down. Before I added it the Shimmery White layer, I stamped the sentiment on the bottom. Well, it smeared and I was able to create a layer in the Granny Apple Green cardstock. There’s never any mistakes, just room to embellish! I added dimensionals to the Shimmery White layer, added it to the card base and the same with the sentiment layer.
