Hey everyone. I hope your Thursday is going well. Things are still slow going around here, but I am so thankful for my crafting as it really is good therapy for me. I wanted to share another card that I created a while back using the new Blended Seasons stamp set. Coloring is so soothing for me. Here are the measurements for my card:
- Card base in Gorgeous Grape cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Brights DSP cut at 1 1/4″ x 4″
I stamped the image and the sentiment with Memento ink, then colored the flowers using Night of Navy and Gorgeous Grape Watercolor pencils from the new Assortment 2 pencils. I colored the center with Daffodil Delight and the leaves with the Granny Apple Green and Garden Green Pencils. Then I blended them all using a Blender Pen. Once that was done, I added some Wink of Stella. I like how that helps blend the colors too. When it dried, I added the strip of DSP and the ribbon, then adhered it to the card base.
