Hey everyone! Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Hard to believe it’s the last Tuesday of September. I hope your week is off to a good start. I am so glad we have sketches, it really helps when you have so many layers. But, as you can see, I changed mine up quite a bit.
For my take this week I decided to use the Ornamental Christmas bundle with the Modern Christmas Specialty DSP. Such an elegant suite of products! And that two-pack of twine in black and gold and white and gold is the perfect touch! I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ Thick Basic White card base and trimmed my sheet of DSP to 4″ x 5 1/4″. I decided to use the Christmas trees instead of all the stitched squares for the layers. I stamped them in Real Red ink, die cut them and added them to the DSP with dimensionals. I then added my twined by wrapping it around three times and tucking the ends into Stampin’ Seal Adhesive that I had applied to the back of the DSP. I then attached it all to the card front. Next, I trimmed my scrap of Basic White to the measurements given, stamped a portion of the sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink, and then added it to a 2 1/4″ x 3/4″ piece of Gold Foil and then added both to a 2 1/2″ x 1″ piece of Basic Black. I added more Seal to the back and dimensionals to add it to the card. I added the extra Seal to catch the twine between the dimensionals. For my bling, I colored some of our rhinestones with my Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker and sprinkled them on.
For the inside, I stamped the rest of the sentiment from the front and the Merry Christmas, also in Tuxedo Black and added a 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ strip of the DSP.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped another of the trees on the front of the envelope to tie it all together.
Don’t you just love that foiled DSP?!? The entire pack is absolutely stunning!!
