Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! I got to play a little bit today, well, a lot a bit since I was working on my Fabulous Friday stuff. 😉 Today I chose to play with the Beautiful Peacock stamp set that is a Sale-a-bration stamp set. Not sure what Sale-a-bration is? It’s a sale that runs from January through March that has it’s own catalog with items that you can get for free when you purchase $50.00 worth of product from the Annual Catalog or the Occasions Catalog. Isn’t great to get free stuff?? And you can get this for FREE starting on January 3rd; that’s just 6 days away!! Here are the measurements of my card:
- Card base in Lemon Lime Twist cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Island Indigo layer cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper cut at 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″
Don’t you just love the colors of this card? And the bling?!? I am LOVING the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper!! So to create this card, I stamped the peacock in Island Indigo ink and the tail feathers in Lemon Lime Twist. I cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and a piece of Island Indigo with a coordinating scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits and adhered them together. Then I stamped the sentiment the flourishes in Island Indigo and added some flowers in Lemon Lime Twist. I then adhered the peacock with some dimensionals over the flourishes. Then I added some Mini Glue Dots to the corners and the middle of the Whisper White layer and adhered that to the glimmer paper. Glue dots are the best adhesive when adhering cardstock to the top of it. I adhered that layer to the Island Indigo, then both layers to the card base. I sprinkled on some rhinestones and voila! Another quick and easy card!!
