Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! I know, I don’t usually post on Saturdays, but I was cleaning up my craft room and just felt like creating instead (don’t tell me I’m the only one that does that!! lol) This was definitely more of a “I’m still in a first day of fall mode”, and this is what I came up with.

I pulled out the Basket of Wishes stamp set and decided on the pumpkins. I stamped the basket in Soft Suede and the pumpkins in Old Olive. Then I got my blender pens and just started coloring. Nothing better then enjoying a fall afternoon listening to the birds outside and coloring!! A huge stress reliever! When I was done coloring, I sponged on some Soft Suede and Cajun Craze. Then I just pulled out some scraps of Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive cardstock and started layering. I love how all of Stampin’ Up!’s products coordinate! I grabbed the Old Olive Chevron ribbon and couldn’t really decide what I wanted to do with it, so I went with a bow. I had seen a video on coloring our rhinestones with Sharpies so I pulled out a green one, colored some of the stones and added them to the card. I thought they looked pretty good! Once everything was layered, I added it to a Thick Whisper White card base. A nice fall birthday card!! Here are the measurements of the cardstock:

  • Card base Thick Whisper White                       8 1/2 x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4
  • Old Olive                                                           5 1/4 x 4″
  • Pumpkin Pie                                                     5 x 3 3/4″
  • Cajun Craze                                                     4 1/4 x 3 1/4″
  • Whisper White                                                 4 x 3″
