Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! I told you I had another scrapbook layout to share with you, and this one just makes me happy. The picture is of my grandson Charlie and his best friend in life, Kaden. They were both 3 years old when this picture was taken last Halloween. Aren’t they adorable? At that time neither one of them could say their “R’s” very well and I thought the “trick or tweet” sentiment was perfect for this. Here are the measurements for this layout:
- Base in Lemon Lime 12 x 12 cardstock
- Toil & Trouble DSP cut at 1 5/8″ x 12″ and 5 1/4″ x 8″
- Basic Black cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″
- Pumpkin Pie cardstock cut at 3 1/4″ x 1 3/4″
I adhered the strip of DSP across the top, and added 2 of the spider webs in Basic Black cardstock leftover from another project. I adhered the other piece of DSP to the middle of the page and added the picture that was matted on Basic Black. I stamped and colored the puppy and the bird from the stamp set and cut them out and added them to the DSP. I next added some leftover bats with mini dimensionals. I used my 1/2″ punch and punched out two of the spiders and added them with Mini Glue Dots. Next I stamped the sentiment and punched it out with the Classic Label punch and adhered it with more dimensionals and some more Glitter Enamel Dots. I wrote out the journaling on a scrap piece of Whisper White and layered it onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, then adhered it down.
I know Stampin’ Up! is celebrating World Card Making Day this week, but I just had to add these two pages to my album and wanted to share them with you. Actually, Whisper White and Very Vanilla 12 x 12 cardstock packs are on sale this week. If you need to stock up, just head over to my online store. While you’re there, be sure to check out the other essentials and stamp sets that are on sale. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Thursday. Don’t forget to come back tomorrow for my Fabulous Friday!
