Hey everyone! Happy Friday! Thought since I had a few moments I’d pop in with the directions to another March Paper Pumpkin alternate card. I am in Las Vegas at the moment enjoying this view at my sister’s house:
Not too bad, huh? The houses are close together, but when you can sit out here with your coffee and enjoy the water feature in the pool….life is good!! I am getting really excited for tonight and tomorrow with CentreStage and OnStage, but this is a good way to pass the time. 😉 I’ve been missing my little furbabies, but fortunately for me, my sister has 2 Pomeranians too, so it’s just like at home. Meet Rocky and Sadie.
Aren’t they adorable?!? I can’t wait for the four furbabies to get together!! That will be hysterical!! Can you tell my sister and I are Pommy Mommies? lol So here are the measurements for my card:
- Card base in Fresh Fig cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Fresh Fig cut at 4 x 5 1/4″
- Early Espresso strip cut at 1″ x 4″
- Crumb Cake strip punched with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch
I ran the layer through my Big Shot using the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. I think it goes well with the die cut I chose from the kit. I adhered the layer to the card front found the strips of Early Espresso and Crumb Cake. I used the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch on the Crumb Cake strip and added it to the Early Espresso with some Mini Glue Dots. I cut a doily in half and added it to the back of the strip. I tied a piece of Linen Thread around it and added a double bow of the thread with a Mini Glue Dot. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink, then punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch. By punching it out first, I was able to add the little swirls stamp right where it needed to be. I adhered the Early Espresso strip to the card front with Snail Adhesive, then added the die cut with dimensionals. I added some more dimensionals to the label, adhered it down and added the glitter dots. I think it turned out pretty cute!
