Hey everyone! I wanted to share one more alternate Paper Pumpkin card from the February kit. I wanted to create something different with the embossed vellum layer and I thought an anniversary card would work perfectly.

Here are the measurements for the card:

  • Card base in Mossy Meadow cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
  • Basic White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 3 3/4″ x 5″ for the inside

I think this one is a pretty simple card. I started by trimming a scrap of Basic White to the same size as the vellum and attaching it with Mini Glue Dots. When you glue vellum to anything, you have to be careful because a lot of adhesives show through, so I added a Mini Glue Dot to each corner within the leaves of the foiling and then a strip of Stampin’ Seal in the middle, which is hidden behind my scalloped rectangle. Once the two were glued together, I added it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. Next I stamped the bouquet in Versa Mark ink on a scrap of Basic White and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Once it cooled, I cut it out with the largest stitched scallop rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly die set. I made sure to leave enough room at the bottom for my sentiment. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and it’s stamped in Mossy Meadow. I added it to the card front with dimensionals and added some of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

For the inside, I wanted extremely clean and simple since I wanted this to be more of an elegant card, so I just stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set, in Mossy Meadow ink.

I will use one of the envelopes from the kit that has the Mossy Meadow liner inside. I love that breaking apart the kit makes it go so much farther. I hope you like today’s card as much as I do and that you’ll consider subscribing to Paper Pumpkin. It is actually one of the top subscription craft kits in the industry!
