Hey everyone! I hope your week is going well. I wanted to share the January Paper Pumpkin Kit with you. Have you seen any of the samples of these cute treat holders? Oh my gosh! These little treat holders are soooo stinking cute! And they coordinate with the Animal Outing Suite in the Annual Catalog! Here’s a look at two of the holders:
These are so easy to put together too. The kit came with enough product to create 24 treat holders. I thought maybe if you didn’t need 24 treat holders, it would be fun to have a coordinating card to go with the treat holder. I also wanted to use just the supplies from the kit with the exception of the card base and of course our rhinestones. Here are the measurements for my card:
- Card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- One treat holder from the kit cut in to two pieces, one at 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ and the other at 2 3/8″ x 3 1/2″
After I trimmed the treat holder down, I adhered them to the card off setting them. I took the scalloped circle die cut and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals (2 full sheets included in the kit!). Then I added the kangaroo die cut with dimensionals. She is soooo cute! I stamped the sentiment on one of the label die cuts and used some of the mini glue dots that are also included in the kit and adhered it to the kangaroo to look like she’s holding a sign. Those adorable heart enamel dots are just too cute, so I added them to the “sign”. I added some rhinestones (because I always have to have bling!) and called it done.
Now for those that don’t know what Paper Pumpkin is, it s a monthly crafting kit from Stampin’ Up! that comes right to your door. The kits come with everything you need to create the projects, cardstock, an exclusive stamp set, ink spots (this is a good way to start a collection of our inks), and whatever embellishments that go with the project. The first kit of your subscription will even include an acrylic block. It is $19.95 plus tax each month and you will get the best happy mail out there! The best part is if you’re not happy with it, you can cancel at any time. We even had a sneak peek of February’s kit. Have you seen that video yet? Here it is:
My middle daughter is getting married in October and has succulents as part of her theme, so I’m excited to get that kit. If you would like to subscribe, you can do so here. These kits are the perfect solution for crafters of all types. And they are the best grab ‘n go craft when you can’t pack up your entire craft room! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed today’s projects. If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list so you don’t miss anything. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
