Hey everyone! I can’t believe it’s almost time for the new 2017/2018 Catalog to go live! I’ve been so busy getting ready for last week’s vendor fair that I haven’t had much time to play with all the new goodies I got on my pre-order. Then the last 2 days I was cleaning my scraproom and purging out the final retired items. I even got my scrap bin cleaned up and reorganized…and that was a job! I only have one more small corner to finish cleaning up and I should be good to go. Since I was that close today I thought I’d take the last 1/2 hour of my work day to actually “play” with some new product. I mean, come on, tomorrow is THE big day, so I wanted something to share tonight.
I decided on the new Crafting Forever stamp set. It was one I got at OnStage in San Diego back in April. I absolutely love it! Who doesn’t want a crafting stamp set? Perfect for all your crafting friends! I used a piece of the new Color Theory Designer Series Paper to coordinate with my card base of one of the new In Colors, Berry Burst. I stamped the image in black on a piece of watercolor paper and then colored it with an aqua painter. Kind of apropos with the image being paint brushes. 🙂 Then once it was dry, I mounted it on black. The sentiment is in the Berry Burst and cut out with one of the stitched circle framelits and mounted on a black scalloped circle. Then I add a couple of the new Glitter Enamel Dots. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! Both the image and sentiment are popped up on dimensionals. Did you know that one of the new items that will be available tomorrow will be mini dimensionals??? Yep! That’s going to make life so much easier for those little pieces you want to pop up. Can’t wait to get some!
