All For One Gingham

Hello everyone, Happy Thursday! I wanted to share a quick card made completely from scraps. I love it when I can do that, how about you? Here are the measurements for today’s card:

Card base in Basic Black cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″
Gingham Gala DSP cut at 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ for the inside

I’ve been in my scraproom preparing for my Hugs ‘n Healing Card Class that’s on Saturday when I came across the piece of DSP that I was going to use for another project, then changed my mind. You know how that is when your designing, right? 😉 Any way, I took a quick break and put this card together. Knowing I was going to use my Tuxedo Black ink pad for the image from the One For All stamp set, I pulled out my Stamparatus. I find that when I am stamping a larger image in black, sometimes it isn’t as bold as I want. By using the Stamparatus (our stamp positioning tool) I was able to stamp it twice in the same exact spot, which is exactly what I needed to do. Once I stamped the image on the DSP I adhered it to the card front. I used one of the Bitty Blooms punches and punched a flower in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. I crumpled it a bit to give it some dimension and added it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot. Then I added one of the black Faceted Dots to the flower. I stamped the than you sentiment from the same stamp set and stamped it in Tuxedo Black and adhered it to the inside. Voila! Done in less then 5 minutes! My kind of card!!
