Hey everyone, happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. It was my one weekend off and of course, I spent a good part of it in my studio. 🙂  Guess that’s why I have a paper crafting business…I just can’t get enough! I wanted to share the home decor piece I made my niece as she had a baby last week. Wow, that makes me a great aunt! Makes you realize how time is flying by when you say those words! lol Anyway, back to my home decor piece.

I love how it turned out! I used the new All About Baby bundle and had so much fun creating this. Here are the background measurements:

  • Base is a 12″ x 12″ sheet from the Pansy Petals DSP
  • 12″ x 12″ piece of Basic White cut to 11″ x 11″
  • 12″ x 12″ piece of Soft Succulent cut to 9″ x 9″
  • 12″ x 12″ piece of Blushing Bride cut to 8 3/4″ x 8 3/4″

After I found out the nursery colors, I knew that the gingham piece of DSP was going to work perfectly. I cut my 4 layers to the sizes and attached them together with some Stampin’ Seal+. Next I took some scraps of Basic White and die cut my great niece’s name and birthdate and set them aside. I stamped one of the cute onesies in Soft Succulent ink and one in Blushing Bride ink and then the Teddy Bear in Sahara Sand ink and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I die cut 3 of the bibs, one in a piece of Soft Succulent DSP and one in Blushing Bride DSP and one in Basic White. I then die cut the other two onesies in the DSP’s and stamped two bows in the same inks and die cut them all. Next I die cut the heart, the star, the two pockets and four of the little hangers in Basic White. I attached those little pieces with Mini Glue Dots and then stamped the heart in Blushing Bride on the white bib. I used liquid glue very sparingly to attach them to the back of the onesies. I then die cut labels from the Stitched So Sweetly and the Scalloped Contour die sets and added all my die cut pieces with dimensionals. The white bib is attached with a Mini Glue Dot. Next I added the labels to my Blushing Bride layer with more dimensionals and then sprinkled on some of the 2021/2023 In Color Jewels. Those have to be my absolute favorite embellishment; they go with everything!! Here’s a look at the sampler framed.

Isn’t it cute? I think my niece will like it, what do you think? If you would like to order any of today’s products, just head over to my online store here.
