Hey everyone! Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful fall weekend. We actually had a tiny bit of rain here on Saturday. Nothing measurable, just enough to clean up the air and then combined with the cooler temperatures, it made for a great day. I just wanted to share a quick post on one of the scrap pages I created over the weekend. Now, don’t be shocked, but it’s not all Stampin’ Up! product. *gasp* I know, right? It’s a shocker! lol Even though I am a demonstrator, I am a paper crafter and still have tons of product in my stash from my pre-demo days. And the papers I chose were perfect for Charlie’s first day of school.

My base is a piece of 12 x 12 Poppy Parade and I used the Stampin’ Up! Chalk Pen, but everything else is from other companies. The second layer used is a piece of chalkboard cardstock which I thought went perfectly for the theme. I cut it down to 11 1/2″ x 11 1/2″ and then rounded the corners. The pattern paper is from a pack from Echo Park as is the the ruler sticker, the pencil and the sentiment embellishment. The other papers are a scrap of Balmy Blue for my photo mat and a piece of Lucky Limeade (retired) from Stampin’ Up! I love that our papers match other company’s colors so easily. The heart is from an embellishment kit from Kingston Craft Essentials and the gems is from Diamond Press. I had fun creating the school themed layout, it’s just hard to believe Charlie is already in the 1st grade!!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great afternoon and be sure to come back for another CASE-ing Tuesday.
